Finally! An update, sheesh! (Regarding EU/UK... it's GOOD!)

Alright everyone! Here we go.
It seems our decision to try an alternate path is working out. HOO-RAH!
Here's the sitch- in order to fulfill in the EU/UK we needed to team up with another fulfillment company to distribute the orders in these regions. As such, we are sending our product to their fulfillment centers. Depending on a bunch of factors (shipping lanes, the state of the world... etc) this is estimated to be about a 4-5 week journey. I'm gonna stop short of guaranteeing that timeline as unforeseen hurdles have popped up many times during this whole process, but fingers crossed! Once the fulfillment center has the product in hand, they'll start sending out your games. BOOM!
As always, I thank you all for your patience and understanding. You've made this a very positive experience and I couldn't thank you more.
ALSO - AGAIN - if you are not in the UK/EU and you have yet to receive your game, it's probably because you didn't fill out your backer survey in time. It's all good, just send me a message here on Kickstarter and I'll get it worked out for you.
ALSO ALSO - It's the holiday season and we have some product left. Please spread the word and let's get the game in the hands of some movie/game lovers!

So, our quest to secure this DAMN VAT registration has unfortunately yet to come to fruition.
BUT, we continue to sally forth and the little bit of GOODISH news I have here is that we now have two different operations working on this simultaneously. Since we can't seem to bust down the front door, we're flanking the damn establishment and trying to find another entrance.
I again want to apologize to our UK/EU backers. I'm trying every which way to get this done for you.
To all the others, please, if you haven't received your game, send me a message here on Kickstarter and we'll get it figured out.
To all the others that have got their dirty hands on the game and played it, I'd love to hear your thoughts. And please, send me pics over on the twitter (@joebereta). Feels a little more real when I see/hear people enjoying it.

EU/UK registration update (sigh)

Hey everyone- specifically those of you in the UK/EU region of the world.
After waiting for an ungodly amount of time, we were forced to track down the the VAT registration people and only then they did they say, "oh, yeah, that... nah, we rejected your registration." We're not even sure why at this point, but we are digging for that information. We've been informed that this can be a huge pain in the ass, but I never imagined it being this frustrating.
So what that means is that the delivery of orders will still be delayed (I'M VERY SORRY) as we resubmit our registration. They're over there sitting in a fulfillment center. We just... can't... deliver (AGAIN, VERY SOORY).
Your patience is adored and your frustration is understood. I thank you all.
As far as everyone else goes, as always, if you live in the other regions of the world, you SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED YOUR ORDER by now.
If you have not - IT IS MOST LIKELY BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T SUBMIT YOUR ADDRESS VERIFICATION IN TIME (even if you think you did... you might not have).
If you have not received your package, please send a message here on Kickstarter and I'll get it handled.

Still Waiting on VAT registration / US Backer Support / Shopify

Hey everyone,
Just a quick update to answer some questions and provide some info.
1. EU/UK Orders
Unfortunately, we are still stuck in the maddening VAT registration system. I'm currently waiting on replies with my hands tied. We've submitted the correct papers multiple times, I've sent numerous follow-up emails and it seems I'm just stuck in forever purgatory. I'm incredibly sorry for this annoyance. But rest assured, I am working on remedying the problem.
2. If you are in the US/CA or other non-EU/UK places and didn't get your order
This is most likely due to the fact that you didn't update your address in time. Some of you did so AFTER the deadline so you didn't make it into the shipping cue. That being said, if you haven't received your copies, just message me here on Kickstarter and I'll get it figured out.
3. SHOPIFY
Also, if you reside in the US/CA, we have a live Shopify store where you can get The Movie Movie Game or the expansions while supplies last. So, if you got some friends or family you want to gift joy to or an enemy you'd like to frustrate, please hit up the store. And spread the word! I'd greatly appreciate it.

European Registration Nightmares and People Who Didn't Update Addresses

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to update our EU/UK area backers. I'm very sorry for the delay. The games are sitting in the distribution warehouse in your part of the world, but we are getting a mighty runaround trying to get this VAT registration completed. We're gonna keep fighting the good fight and I'll keep you in the loop. We'll hopefully have a better update soon. Again, one million apologies for this hiccup.
On the other hand, I know there are a small number of you outside of EU/UK that have yet to receive your game. 99% of the time it is because you didn't submit an address with your order. People have been remedying this situation by simply messaging me here on Kickstarter. I'll be able to manually check the order and then submit it over to Quarter Master.
Alright, that's it for now. In the meantime, if you have played the game, please please send me photos, reviews, and stories of how game night went. It all brings a big smile to my face. Share here and also use #moviemoviegame on the socials and I'll definitely see it!
